Ruzan Khambatta: NATIONAL EDUCATION AND SHARING DAY (USA) This day was first inaugurated on April 18, 1978, by President Jimmy Carter and has since been proclaimed annually, by the presiding President. National Education and Sharing Day is a day that was made by the United States Congress in honor of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson (1902 – 1994).
